This opening of the LOOK OF LOST of our artists in Residence Nicole Bianchet (painting and Rem van den Bosch ( photography/sculpture) is a unique one not to be missed. Nicole and Rem are our latest teachers of the workshop Me Myself and I. this young couple has been staying with us for the last weeks and they have been working all around to present us this new show. Nicole with beautiful intense/quite paintings and drawings full of surprises and Rem master of action and energy makes these lovely delicate sculptures and pictures that slows us down and think for a while.

The premiere of this new video is a special presentation in our theater space called The Black Box.  This video was recorded a year ago in Skagastronk Iceland, by Erla Haraldsdottir and Craniv Boyd. Titled BOY and Horse and is a Short Story Film of  35 Minutes long and done on HD Video. This short story done by both artist is one conbinned with animation.
The story tells us about a boy who passes most of his time with horses and suddenly discovers that they can talk. Totally confused and scared he tells his classmates who at the same time discovers that he is talking to horses. So they make fond of him and cal him all sorts of name. He ends up telling his divorced mother who doesn't believe him, try to find consolation at the local church and so erupts at the local fortune teller, where his fortune is told……………
During this opening there is also the opportunity to see our running shows in our main venue. Like the multi disciplinary show by our students called Me Myself and I  under guidance of Nicole and Rem and the video result of our fashion show MODA, under guidance of local artist Melisa Richardson.
All this in a cosy ambience where we give honor to our art and Culture bringing together the local craft, music and art: with the Caha di Orgel by Angel Wernet, jewelry by Melisa Richardson and a coconut-water stand, hotdogs and souvenirs by Buchi Faro, open studios and much more !

Thats why your presence here is a must do. Come and celebrate with us DIA DI BETICO at the Ateliers '89 in honor of this great leader, starting from 10 Am and on.
Enjoy this Museum and gallery Morning route by starting to visit us and continue to the Archeology Museum and next to the Fort Zoutman, the Numismatic Museum, with the Foundation Rancho, UNOCA and STudio O.
